The Bear started playing Golf Rival several months ago. A natural question is, given the number of clubs and limited resources, which should you focus on to upgrade? I created a spreadsheet to attempt to answer that question. It is a variation of one I found online for Golf Clash.
The spreadsheet calculates a weighed average of each club’s ranking in terms of power, accuracy, etc. The weight given to each category varies depending on the type of club. For example, power is more important for a driver than for a sand wedge, and therefore gets a higher weight. I sorted it according to the overall score from highest to lowest for each club type.
I used information from this website to create the spreadsheet: https://bgred.byethost14.com/
I cannot tell whether the information is completely accurate. It did appear to conflict in minor ways with what I could see on my iPhone and there were clubs for which there was incomplete information. Still, it gives a very good picture of which clubs are best to upgrade.
Just because a club is at or near the top does not necessarily mean it is the best choice to upgrade. For example, Wolf clubs usually are near the top, but the cost and the number of cards needed to upgrade may be prohibitive.
My recommendations, particularly in the early stages, are:
Drivers: Black Bear and Earth (or Batwings if you can find upgrade cards;
Arrow is a good choice here too)
Woods: Moon and Wooden Wheel
Irons: Sky Wheel and Mars
Wedges: Dart and Stream
Sand Wedges: Dragon and Excavator
[I am still trying to figure out how to import a download version of the spreadsheet to this post. For now, you can request it by email to: firstname.lastname@example.org. Provided that there are not too many requests, I will try to get it to you within 2 days.]
